As the co-founder of Cabblow Studios, Kabelo brings nine years of experience in creating medical short films, children’s books, comics, and working with top clients like Multichoice on the Channel-O animated TV series Zen Zone, on DSTV ch320. Kabelo will share invaluable insights to help you understand how animated films are made from start to finish! In this workshop, you’ll discover how storyboards are used to craft different story worlds, moods and emotions across all genres of films and animation. Kabelo will showcase previous short films like Reflections (now showing at the festival) and her studio process for the original K-pop-inspired South African animated series Rorisang & The Gurlz.
