If you have already worked with commercial patterns and you want to incorporate your own design elements or need a better fit, this workshop is for you. We will start with a short introduction relating to the tools and equipment needed for pattern drafting. Flat pattern drafting systems will be discussed. In this workshop, you will learn, the art of measuring, including taking pattern measurements (ease). Dart and style manipulations of patterns, such as how to remove darts and how to create style lines, yokes, gathers, and pleats, will be discussed.
