A young couple on their way to a party find themselves stranded by a main road and, after hours in the biting cold, decide to seek shelter in a remote cabin in the woods. Oswald, a loner, offers the girl shelter for the night and firmly believes she is destined for him. Thus begins a titanic struggle between the men.
