During this workshop, participants will be shown step-by-step how two layers of cloth can be transformed into a beautiful, handmade quilt using only a needle and thread. These slow, repetitive hand movements will help you explore your creativity and artistry in a relaxed atmosphere. Each participant will receive:

• Pre-cut fabric squares
• Needle and thread
• Backing fabric
• Batting

Bring along:

• Sharp scissors
• Thin dressmaker pins
• Long ruler (measurements will be in inches)
• Frixion pen
• Soap
• Chalk or any other medium for marking on fabric

All children should preferably be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
