Tessa was not born yesterday. She knows that tonight’s event and the ridiculous “Lifetime Achievement Award” she’s receiving subtly say that her time is over. Tessa will not show up, and the stuttering Thomas has his hands full trying to convince her to go after all. Marion Holm and Dean John Smith heat the stage in this play about octopuses and what we do to be okay. – There’s plenty to laugh about, but, for balance, there is also quite a bit to cry about.
