Noise & Neighbours is the story of a bored little girl and a man who has given up. Bolelo, the daughter of a working single mother, spends her days alone. Helmut, the neighbour in the apartment below them, wastes what is left of his life in front of the TV. When Bolelo receives a piano for her birthday, it causes consternation. When she plays the piano, a frustrated Helmut bangs a broomstick against the ceiling and demands that she stop disturbing his peace. Gradually, however, their quarrels turn into a conversation. They become friends who never meet but are always there for each other through thick and thin.
