This TPG workshop will introduce the participants to linocut, a relief printing technique. This 3-hour-long workshop will explain the method, provide examples, and demonstrate the process. The participants can choose from a selection of prepared designs and will carve them into a piece of linoleum, then print the design onto archival cotton rag paper and a tote bag. The participants will leave this workshop with in-depth knowledge of how to create a linocut and use it to print onto paper and fabric.

The workshop comes in two options:
Option 1 (Play):R800
Allows participants to learn and use the technology, and they will leave with three final prints and a hand-printed tote bag with their design.

Option 2 (Master):R1350
Allows participants to learn and use the technology, and they will leave with three final prints, their linocut tool kit, and a hand-printed tote bag with their design.
